I’m a firm believer a good designer should know how to draw by hand. Some of my favorite logos and t-shirt graphics have come from doodles and napkin sketches. I might not pick up a paint brush or open a sketch book as much as I used to, but I wouldn’t be the designer I am today if it wasn’t for my background in art and the countless hours I spent drawing as a teenager.
