Jimmy Webb Collab / Climbing Capsule Collection

At the time, no other outdoor brands had ventured into clothing collaborations with professional climbers. HippyTree set out to break new ground by partnering with renowned climber Jimmy Webb to create a first-of-its-kind climbing inspired capsule collection. Drawing on Webb’s Tennessee roots, the collection’s color palette was inspired by the hues of his hometown city flag. A standout feature of the collection was the flannel’s interior neck yoke, which showcased a map of Chattanooga, highlighting key climbing areas where Webb honed his skills. The pinnacle piece in the collection was a climbing pant that quickly became one of HippyTree’s top-selling styles.

As Design Director and Project Manager for this project, I was responsible for all communication with Jimmy Webb, directing the apparel design, overseeing product development, and managing the marketing efforts to bring the collection to life.
