Rumpl Blanket Collaboration

The collaboration between HippyTree and Rumpl was a unique opportunity at the time, as both brands were young, ambitious, and carving out their niches within the outdoor industry. Rumpl was pioneering the use of sleeping bag material for blankets, while HippyTree was creating adventure clothing for the younger climbing demographic. By combining Rumpl’s innovative design technology with HippyTree’s timeless fabric prints, we created a blanket that became one of Rumpl’s first major brand collaborations, distributed across all REI retail stores.

As Design Director and Project Manager, I led all communication with Rumpl, working closely with their in-house design team to ensure a seamless partnership. I also oversaw marketing efforts, ensuring the collaboration resonated with our shared audience and reinforced both brands' values.
